Why I started my own publication
I’ve been on Medium for a while now. At first I was a quiet supporter, that just read others’ work and occasionally left claps. Then, I decided to try my hand at writing. It’s been a while, and I’m very grateful for the momentum I’ve gained, but hungry for more. I like writing short stories- both non-fiction and creative, sometimes even poetry. Something about storytelling, even in other forms (movies, songs, etc.) has always fascinated me. But even after nearly a year on Medium, I can’t seem to find the right place to publish them.
This is a publication dedicated to those stories. Those that tell the real, raw, messiest parts about being human. I’d love to add more writers to this! If you’re interested, leave a reply to this post with your medium username, or email it directly to me at yourstrulypub@gmail.com.
